The Abuja earth tremor has found its way into the 2019 elections with some Presidential aspirants taking to the social media over the weekend to identify with residents of the Nation’s Capital.

“We have all been feeling the earth tremor in Abuja over the last 48 hours. I know that many people are scared, but please remain calm and vigilant”.
The PDP Presidential hopeful also called out saying at this time it is important that @nemanigeria, the FCT Emergency Management Agency, FEMA, and all emergency services be on high alert to prevent the loss of lives and property.
Former Vice President, Abubakar Atiku who is a PDP Presidential hopeful also encouraged Abuja inhabitants not to panic following the reported tremor experience in some parts of the city.
In his words it will be reassuring to citizens for the relevant authorities to investigate the situation.
While other Presidential aspirants did not say anything about the tremors on their social media handles, the Gombe State Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo who is also in the Presidential race took to his twitter handle to urge everyone to stay safe and calm with the hope that appropriate authorities are monitoring the situation.
