INEC Set To Sanitise Voters' Register
Ahead of the 2019 general elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, says it is set to sanitise the voters’ register.

Abia State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Joseph Ilo, stated this in Umuahia, the state's capital, during a one-day stakeholders town hall meeting for confidence building and sensitization.
While exonerating INEC of the alleged underage voting in Kano State during the Kano local government elections, Ilo charged the electorate to visit polling units from the sixth of November to check their details and make necessary objection.
Participants at the meeting, while encouraging the electorate and politicians to play by the rules, charged INEC to ensure credible elections in 2019.
The town hall meeting attracted representatives of political parties and Civil Society Organizations.
