FEC Approves N206BN for Second Niger Bridge Link Roads
The Federal Executive Council has approved the sum of two hundred and six billion naira for the construction of a link road and other associated infrastructure for the second Niger Bridge.

Contract for the construction of the second Niger Bridge which was awarded during the administration of Former President Goodluck Jonathan was initially designed to be executed under a public/private partnership PPP arrangement.
Minister of information and culture Lai Mohammed told reporters after Wednesday’s FEC meeting that the federal government has since pulled out from the PPP deal due to its failure under the immediate past administration
Council on Wednesday also approved another twelve point seven billion naira for consultancy services to enable Nigeria develop a reliable data for its solid mineral deposits.
Minister of state for mines and steel development Bawa Bwari said a bankable data for the mining sector would attract both local and foreign investors.
